CARDBOARD is an ongoing series of one of a kind pieces made in homage to cardboard. Cardboard’s structure makes it sturdy but also fragile if bent in the wrong direction. As a box, it can be used to protect an object but it can also be used in play and manipulated into shapes and drawn onto.

I have cast a blood red ruby into this piece which is best seen in the video below and applied a patina to the edge of the piece to highlight the texture. Over time the silver will oxidise further in the creases, serving as a record of you wearing the piece.
