Willa Hilditch started creating jewellery under the name Hilfreich Jewellery in 2019.

Prior to making jewellery, Willa studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art followed by the Drawing year at the Royal Drawing School. Her art background and continued painting and drawing practice heavily influence her creations in metal. The drawings Willa engraves into her pieces are informed by her day-to-day interactions and observations. They reference narratives and images as seen while walking, in advertising, in books, in paintings, in historical objects, etcetera.

All wax carving and silversmithing processes are carried out in London(UK) using recycled silver and responsibly sourced lab and natural stones. All silver pieces are stamped by the London Assay Office certificating their authenticity and tying them in the UK’s tradition of hallmarking that began in the 1300s.

Each piece is packaged in a sweet little hand stitched pouch made from dead stock fabric by my friend Esther in London.
