Van Gogh house commissioned me to make a piece of jewellery in response to the museum which was the former residence of artist Van Gogh.

In 2021, I took wax impressions of the grain of the 200-year-old floorboards and manipulated and cast them in silver. The recorded texture is an accumulation of marks made by the people that have lived in the house. The habitudinal scuff of feet as they move from the bed, to the door, to the window define the marks on the floorboards that become important and are recorded in silver.
