To measure your finger correctly please

• Buy a ring sizer

• Visit a high street jeweller and ask your measurements. If you show them a picture of my rings even better!

• If possible avoid measuring your fingers/rings with a ruler or string as these often give a larger size.

• To convert your size to UK please see the chart at the bottom of the page.

There are a few ways to measure your finger but it is very important that we get your size right! Whilst you can measure the inside diameter of existing rings with a ruler or measure the circumference with some string, I would advise double checking with a ring sizer or at a local high street jeweller.

Caring for your silver piece

Hilfreich Jewellery pieces are made with recycled silver which is certified by hallmark stamp of the London Assay office.

The beauty of silver is that it tarnishes over time as you wearing it, reacting with water and air and bringing an element of the owner onto the surface of the silver.

However… to help keep your piece looking good please

• Avoid contact with chemicals to prevent excessive tarnishing (these include perfumes, lotions and hand gels).

• Remove jewellery before sleeping.

• Remove rings when using power tools or climbing.

• Do not leave the ring in a wet or damp environment for prolonged periods as this will cause oxidisation.

If you would like to clean your silver piece you can

• Wash it with warm soapy water (wear it in the shower!).

• For a deeper clean, buy silver polish OR DIY clean it with bicarb and aluminium foil.

Storage:

If you are not wearing your jewellery for an extended period please keep it in a airtight jewellery box or container to stop tarnishing.
